Frequently Asked Questions

Presidential Suite FAQs

What does the Presidential Suite at Cozumel Hotel & Resort look out on?
The suite sits on the top floor and has a pool view. The resort's outdoor pool is described as the largest in Cozumel, with a Maya-style pyramid island feature and geometric cutouts. Around it are sun loungers, a pool bar, a hot tub and a separate children's pool, so you look out over the busiest and most photogenic part of the property.
What are the bathrooms like?
There are two private bathrooms, so each bedroom has its own. Each has a shower, soap, shampoo, toilet paper, a hair dryer, a magnifying mirror and bathrobes, and towels are provided. Toothbrushes and toothpaste are not supplied, so pack your own.
Can I prepare food in the suite?
Yes. The suite has a kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator and freezer, a microwave, a blender, and cookware, dishware and utensils. Free bottled water is provided. This helps with early snacks for children or a longer stay. Room service runs during limited hours if you would rather order in.
Is the Presidential Suite a good choice for families?
Yes. Cozumel Hotel & Resort is family-friendly and not adults-only. It has a kids' club with a supervised activities program for ages 5–12, a playground and a children's pool. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms give parents and children their own space, and the living room and kitchen give you somewhere to gather. Note that rollaway beds cannot be added.
What is included in the stay for guests in this suite?
On the resort's all-inclusive plan you get all meals and snacks, domestic alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, the daily activities program, non-motorized water sports, and applicable gratuities and taxes. The Eco Tax is excluded. Spa treatments, massages, babysitting and pool cabanas are charged separately.
How far is the suite from the beach, restaurants and town?
The resort's private beach club is reached from the main building by an underground tunnel beneath the coastal road. It has palm trees, a shaded palapa, lounges, hammocks and a beach bar. Los Arcos, the main restaurant, is off the lobby, and Los Girasoles is beachside. Downtown San Miguel is about a mile away, roughly a 15–20 minute walk, and the resort offers free bicycles. Cozumel International Airport is a 6–10 minute drive.
Is the suite accessible?
The suite is described as accessible. The resort has an elevator, wheelchair-accessible parking, and accessible bathrooms with grab rails and lower sinks. Because the suite is on the top floor, the elevator is how you reach it.
What should I know about check-in, Wi-Fi and parking?
Check-in begins at 3:00 PM and check-out is by noon. The minimum check-in age is 18, and you will need photo ID and a credit card. A refundable incidental deposit may be taken by card at check-in. Free Wi-Fi is available in the public areas, and free self-parking is on site.
